Marlon Titre and Yuchi Cordoba have written some exciting new songs especially for Triangulo. The music has its roots in Caribbean folklore, jazz, 21st century avant garde.

Muzik di Zumbi and Tambu, two styles in music that were underground on the Caribbean for centuries, have been the inspiration for the composers. It is this type of Caribbean music in particular that refers to the African roots: Muzik di Zumbi, percussion combined with voice or a melody instrument, was created during slavery. Tambu is one of the oldest and most distinctive rhythms of Aruba and the Antilles. Marijn van Prooijen made arrangements of songs from Izaline Calister, especially for this new combination of players. Surrounded by eight cellists her voice will move you even more!
